Towards European Enterprise Awards with “Forest Honey Production Project

Yığılca Forest District achieved a great success in the European Enterprise Awards with its Forest Honey Production Project. In cooperation with Düzce University and Yığılca Governorship coordinated by Bolu Regional Directorate for Forestry, Yığılca Forest Honey Production Project deserved the first prized at national level in the Enterprise Project Competition organized by KOSGEB (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Development Department) KOSGEB participated in the European Enterprise Awards Competition with this project and got to the finals among 399 projects. The total of 399 projects competed in Enterprises Awards and 12 projects including Turkey were shortlisted for the European Enterprises 2011. The winners will be announced on 24 May 2011 at the award ceremony in Budapest, Hungary.
